Functional training is the continuation of single treatment in a group. Most of the techniques and exercise which are used are also used in physio- and occupational therapy. The participants had individual therapy before and so some experience in the implementation of these exercises. By group, the motivation is to be increased and promoted in a long-term.

In the courses, priorities are set. This means that the main exercises in the coursesare set for certain body parts. With the aim to increase the flexibility and strength in this area. The Rehasport is essentially similar to functional training, but has a more specific objective. For example, spinal injuries (herniated disc, etc.), osteoporosis, heart disease, etc., in the latter case a doctor is always present during the course.

Both functional training, as well as rehabilitation sport can be prescribed by a doctor. Usually it is 50 units, spread over 1/2 to 1 year (1-2x week). Alternatively, the functional training in the water (water aerobics) or rehabilitation sport and medically certified workout devices (prescription: medical training therapy, physiotherapy with workout devices).
